Fancy Cats: Short A Vowel Words

Fancy Cats is the Short A book in the Short Vowel Sounds series. Every spread pairs a black-line picture to color with one short sentence built from short A words.

Your child colors the picture first, with crayons or markers. Then you read the sentence beside it together, point to each word, and find the short A sound. Inside: "A cat and a fat rat playing tag." "Happy crabs in the sand!" "Can you flip a flat pancake in a pan?" Eight spreads in all, each one a new scene to color.
